FINOS-178 Solvent-Based Mirror-Free Adhesive

Features & Benefits

1. Through solvent evaporation and solidification, it dries quickly and can quickly achieve bonding and fixation.
2. Suitable for construction situations that require stiffness of the bonding surface, and the bonding force can reach more than 10 kg/cm².
3. Single-component product, no mixing required, easy to use, wide construction temperature range(-40℃~80℃), the lowest construction temperature can be as low as-10℃, and has corrosion resistance, aging resistance, water resistance and other characteristics.

Applications

1. Used for splicing gypsum boards, fixing keels and bonding ceiling decorative lines.
2. Suitable for bonding soft and hard materials such as wood, aluminum-plastic panels, plastics, and rubber. It is often used for bonding wall decoration and ground waterproofing layers.

construction method

Surface treatment to ensure the bonding surface is clean, smooth, free of oil and dust. If it is a concrete wall, the release agent will also need to be removed. If it is a wet base surface, there must be no exposed water (make sure the surface humidity is not higher than 10%). Use a dedicated glue gun. First, cut off the aluminum film of the tube head (do not cut off the inner tin foil), use a knife to cut the tube opening diagonally (about 45°, or cut it into a round/ flat opening as needed), and install the glue nozzle. Squeeze the tape on the back of the adhesive. Usually, a “zigzag”, “well” or point-shaped gluing method is used (that is, after squeezing out a strip of glue, leave a gap before squeezing out the next strip of glue). Press the adhesive side against the substrate. Since the solvent needs to evaporate for curing, it is recommended to press it first and then gently pull it apart to allow the surface of the strip to evaporate for 2-5 minutes (or longer until the surface is slightly dry) to enhance the initial stickiness and prevent sliding. Press the two sides tightly together again and maintain pressure for a moment (usually 10-30 seconds). If it is a heavy object, it can be fixed with tape or support and wait for initial setting (about 2-3 hours) before removing it. Before formal construction, it is recommended to do a small trial adhesion to test the adhesion and compatibility.
